Radu has over 12 years of experience in the data science space with applications in general machine learning architecture, search, customer analytics, risk and financial analysis.

Currently, Radu works with one of the most exciting players in the enterprise BI and AI game, Tellius. As Head of Product, Radu’s focus is on using the latest AI methods to democratize the way analysts interact with data. Search-based exploration and automation of insights generation are main drivers of the new augmented Intelligence experience in the enterprise.

Prior Experience
Before Tellius, Radu ran the Product team focused on AI applications for search at Lucidworks. Main applications focused on the use of AI to improve the relevance of the e-commerce and enterprise information retrieval process. Radu worked at SAS before Lucidworks where he joined in 2009 as a Risk Solutions Architect, supporting the risk solutions focused on banking, insurance and operational risk. In his 10 years at SAS, Radu held leadership positions in pre-sales and solution architecture for various SAS verticals as well as product management for cloud and platform.

Personal
Radu and his wife Kelci reside in Raleigh, NC. They fill their time chasing after two young, energetic, too-smart-for-their-own-good kids and traveling.
